Let’s move on into the details to the bride. There has been explanation about the bride and what she is going to face during this event, but there is more to it to understand.
The death, burial and resurrection of CHRIST do apply to the bride.
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:34-36
Watching and praying is about watching for the promise of HIS return, praying to maintain a relationship with The LORD, seeking HIS will and being faithful to HIM. In verse 34, it warns against being caught up in the things of this life. If we are caught up in the things of this life as the lost and backslidden are, then we are not being focused in The LORD. Those that are lost and backslidden will not be in this group with the bride in this 3 days event.
This death, burial and resurrection applies to the bride is because she is dead to the flesh of this world. The bride had died to the flesh and let go of the things of this world. This is what sets the bride apart, because she is dead to the flesh. That is why this death means to the bride. We see the 3 days event and the 3 elements of what CHRIST went through, which is death, burial and resurrection.
3 is the number of perfection and completion. Therefore, it makes sense that there will be a 3 days event.
And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed. Matthew 27:59-60
The meaning of the name Joseph is-“GOD will increase”. Which means that GOD will increase when he takes the body of CHRIST, which is the bride that is faithful. The LORD is going to increase the bride. The meaning of increase is to become greater. So The LORD is going to take the body of CHRIST now which is the bride that is worthy. The part of the bride that is worthy is going to be taken and be increased. GOD is going to increase the bride. It is about preparing for what is next.
To wrap means to cover or to cover as a protection. It means that the bride is going to have protection from The LORD. Not only the protection, but it also have mentioned about a clean fine linen cloth. The clean fine linen cloth means purest white, and lustrous. There is the bride’s reward for being faithful, the robe of white linen.
The meaning of tomb is-house, chamber, and vault. Our rock (refuge, fortress, hiding place) is The LORD.
Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. Isaiah 26:20
In Matthew 27, the body of CHRIST enters into the chamber, which is hewn out of the rock is of HIS protection. HE is our strength, fortress, strong tower and hiding place. The great stone was rolled to the door, which means it was closed, just like in Isaiah 26:20.
The resurrection that applies to the bride is having put off the corruptible and put on the incorruptible in a new body, just as CHRIST in the resurrection day with the new body.
and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. Matthew 27:52-53
This verse above is another pattern after resurrection. They appeared to many, which means the bride will appear to many people to witness the truth to them.
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Matthew 28:9
This verse above where the disciples held him by the feet, which means that JESUS was tangible (possible to touch it).
And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. Luke 24:15-16
These verses in Luke could be illuminating to the fact that in the new body, the bride will be able to make herself unfamiliar to people and then be able to expose herself to whom she would like.
And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. Luke 24:31
In Luke 24:31, shows that the bride’s new body could have the capability to vanish.
And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? Luke 24:41
This showed that the bride still have the ability to consume food.
And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. John 20:14
HE was unrecognizable to people.
And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. John 20:26
If HE can vanish, why would not HE be able to walk through the door or to reappear in another room? This new incorruptible body is going to be capable of things that this fleshly corruptible body is not capable of.
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: Acts 1:3
CHRIST was on earth for 40 days and HE was speaking things pertaining to the kingdom of GOD. It seemed that HE was teaching HIS disciples. This could mean that the bride is going to teach the backslidden. The bride could also be the role of educating people on the earth and in the last harvest of winning souls for The LORD. The backslidden have to go through a different process of refinement and purification to get their hearts where they need to, to have that relationship with The LORD.
And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. Daniel 12:9-10
The bride is ready and goes onto a change. The LORD is separating and does not want anyone to perish. The backslidden are being refined and tried. They will go back to HIM, including some of the lost. The wicked are being separated.
In the pattern of Jonah, there was a 40 days period, the warning of what would come upon the wicked city and the message of repentance. The bride would have the work to do to spread the truth. In Exodus, the Israelites were in the wilderness for 40 years. Just as there is a 3 days event, and there are also an APPROXIMATE 40 days event, which is the time after the 3 days of darkness. There is also a 10 days timeframe after the ascension, until the disciples receive the Holy Spirit and being empowered by the Holy Spirit.
After CHRIST was resurrected, HE was on the earth for 40 days, speaking of things pertaining to the kingdom of GOD, so HE continued to do HIS work. After 40 days, HE was ascended.
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Mark 16:19-20
It is so important for the bride to be watching for the promise of The LORD’s return. The bride, backslidden and lost, all have different things for these different people when this 3 days event occur. It affects everybody in some way.
There was a 10 days period from the ascension unto Pentecost. This is going to be an important timeframe. There could be connection between this with the 10 days event in Revelation 2:10. This may be explained in a later stage.
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Revelation 2:10
The ascension of the bride is the rapture.
Part 8 shall be continued in another post.
